Lorentis is a small, highly technical team working on certified silicon for defense, aerospace, space and automotive programs. We don't have room for everyone — but if you are obsessive about correctness, curious about how hardware actually works, and want your designs to fly, drive or protect, we'd like to hear from you.
FPGA DESIGN ENGINEER
You will own RTL design and integration on FPGA-based programs for defense, avionics and space customers. Work spans architecture, RTL coding in VHDL or SystemVerilog, functional simulation, timing closure and on-board bring-up. You will work directly with the customer's system engineers and take full ownership of your blocks from spec to silicon.
ASIC PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
You will lead physical implementation from netlist to GDSII on advanced node tape-outs. Responsibilities cover floorplanning, power planning, place and route, clock tree synthesis, static timing analysis, IR drop and EM analysis, DRC/LVS signoff and foundry hand-off. You will work closely with design and verification teams to close timing and meet power targets.
EMBEDDED FIRMWARE ENGINEER
You will write bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware for Arm Cortex-M and Cortex-A targets on safety-critical programs. Work includes BSP development, peripheral driver writing, real-time scheduling, inter-processor communication and hardware-in-the-loop testing. Experience with DO-178C or ISO 26262 workflows is strongly preferred.
VERIFICATION ENGINEER
You will build and run UVM verification environments for ASIC and FPGA IP blocks. Responsibilities include testbench architecture, constrained-random stimulus, functional coverage closure, assertion writing and regression management. For formal verification projects you will write SVA properties and run JasperGold or SymbiYosys flows.
