Quality Policy

OUR COMMITMENT

At Lorentis, quality is not a final inspection — it is built into every step of the design process. We apply structured development methodologies, independent verification and rigorous documentation practices to ensure that every design we deliver is correct, traceable and fit for its intended safety-critical application. Our engineers work to the same standards demanded by aerospace, defense, automotive and medical certification authorities.

Certified for the work that matters.

Standards We Design To

COMPLIANCE

Lorentis designs hardware and software to the following international standards. Our deliverables include the plans, analyses and evidence packages required by each standard.

DO-254

Airborne Hardware

Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware. Lorentis supports DAL-A through DAL-D hardware development and independent V&V engagements.

DO-178C

Airborne Software

Software Considerations in Airborne Systems. Our firmware and embedded software teams follow DO-178C processes for DAL-A through DAL-C software levels.

ISO 26262

Automotive Safety

Road Vehicle Functional Safety. Lorentis designs hardware and firmware to ASIL-B and ASIL-D requirements for radar, LiDAR, zonal controllers and domain controllers.

IEC 61508

Functional Safety

Functional Safety of E/E/PE Safety-related Systems. We apply IEC 61508 SIL-2 and SIL-3 workflows for industrial automation, energy and process control applications.

IEC 62304

Medical Software

Medical Device Software Lifecycle Processes. Lorentis delivers software development and verification evidence packages compliant with IEC 62304 for Class B and Class C medical devices.

MIL-STD-883

Defense

Test Methods and Procedures for Microelectronics. Our defense designs follow MIL-STD-883 test and screening requirements for high-reliability military and space applications.

Quality in Our Design Process

HOW WE WORK

Requirements Traceability

Every requirement is traced bidirectionally from system level to test case, with full coverage metrics reported at each stage.

Independent Verification & Validation

For safety-critical projects, V&V activities are conducted by engineers independent of the development team, as required by DO-254, DO-178C and IEC 61508.

Hazard & Risk Analysis

FMEA, FTA and FMEDA analyses are performed at architecture and detailed design stages to identify and mitigate safety-critical failure modes.

Design History File

Complete DHF including plans, analyses, review records, test results and certification evidence packages maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Peer Review & Stage Gates

Formal design reviews at each development stage with documented entry/exit criteria, action tracking and sign-off by senior engineers.

Tool Qualification

EDA and verification tools used in safety-critical flows are qualified to DO-330 or IEC 61508-3 tool confidence level requirements.
