Description

A standards-compliant CAN controller IP supporting Classical CAN 2.0A/B and CAN-FD for higher-bandwidth automotive, avionics, and industrial buses. Implements ISO 11898-1 framing with bit-rate switching for CAN-FD payloads up to 64 bytes and data rates up to 8 Mbps. Includes acceptance filtering, error management, transmit/receive FIFOs, and a clean register-mapped host interface (AXI/AXI-Lite/Avalon-MM). Suitable for safety-critical applications when paired with appropriate verification artefacts. Target applications: Vehicle and platform buses, UAV/UCAV subsystem networks, missile and weapons-bus interfaces, industrial automation, robotics.
